コンロッド自身もかなり焼きが入っているので交換になってしまう。
つぎは、大事に慣らしを終わらせ作り上げる。

そのため、予備のエンジンが必要になった。　＃９　Omar
が　TSR製　０６　JSB　エンジンから　０７TSR製　SBK
エンジンに変えたばかりで、JSB　エンジンが余っていた。
Omarに　ことわり　を入れ　早速エンジンの載せ替えと
セットアップをした。　土曜日に　新しいタイヤが来た
ピレリ　から、スペシャルタイヤが送ってきた。テストなしで
それも、＃１２　は性格の違うエンジンに代えたばかり。
嫌な予感、、、　予選は二番手。　タイヤ自身の持ちも良く
３　Race　は出来そうなので　Race　１　は
スーパーソフトで行くことになった。まだ、マップも　完璧ではなかった。
Race　１　がスタートした。　Brent　がスタートに失敗　３回ほど
大きく　ウイリー　をさせてしまった。　実は　予選の後　ライダーの要望もあり
私も納得の上でギア比を　変更した為　スタート時の　トラクションの
かかり具合が　つかみにくかったようだ。　それで　この段階で　２秒ほど
先行され４位で次の周戻ってきた。　しかし、問題はそれだけではなかった。
今回レース日に突如送られてきたタイヤは　以前使っていた　他のメーカー
のタイヤに比べてとてもグリップ力が良く、、また、思った以上に食いついて
３コーナー　と４，５，６各コーナーとも強いアンダーステアー　に悩まされ
最初の数週タイムを落としてしまった、、その後このタイヤにあった走り方に替え
さあ、トップを捕まえに行くというときに　赤旗　で　６周を残し9周でレースは終了。
３位にて終了　＃９　Omarは　５位　終了。

翌日の　Race　２　は　マシンは　ほぼ完璧で　エンジン特性も
極力　SBK　と同じ味付けにして、　前後のサス　特性を替え
進入で　マシンの向きを変えやすくし、また、アクセルを開け始める部分の
リヤ　スライド特性を向上させコントロールし易くした。

今後も我々は　もっと勉強して　どんな短い限られた時間内
でも　きちんと仕上げられるように努力しなければならない。
マシンがコース上に出てしまうとライダ－ができることは極少ない範囲で
の調整しか出来ないそれも　危険を冒して調整しているのだ。
そう言うことをさせないように　我々が　しっかり　努力していかなければならない。

Race　２　の時　＃７１　のエンジンが　異常を　きたした。
４番　コンロッド　のメタルが流れ　打音　が出ている。
原因は　＃４　シリンダー　のイグニッションコイルに　入っている
配線が時々ショートし　１２５００Rpm付近で異常燃焼を誘発し
こういう結果になってしまった。（高回転中に＃４　の点火時期が不規則
になりエンジンに急激なブレーキをかけるくらい、、、）

これは、クランクとのコンロッド　軸が0.1ｍｍ　ほど　芯が狂った

デカ物を変えることになる、、、

and the media.

Ladies and Gentleman,

I would like first to commend Sepang International Circuit, the relevant sporting bodies, especially MAM and the media for their continued commitment towards the Malaysian Super Series (MSS). It is rewarding to note that the annual MSS race series has, over the years since 2002, become one of SIC’s main highlights in promoting motorsports at a national­type level.

This morning’s ceremony is significant as it marks the first time that a home­grown Malaysian motorcycle team has come into the MSS series in a strong way.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Let me have the pleasure of explaining my personal experience of the MSS bike rounds and how Pineapple Motorsports came into the picture. Back in 2002, I had the opportunity to compete in the debut MSS superbike open season on a Ducati 916 SPS. At that time, the series was more of an enthusiast­type race event, with less than ten entries, and I had seen the series grow to be more professional over the past five years.

The following year, Brent and the Msportbike Racing Team, consisting of the valued technical team, Sato­san, Ryuta­San, Spencer Mehta and Michael managed to clinch last year’s championship. Today, we have maintained the two seasoned riders as an integral part of the team’s campaign.

Of late, the team and myself as team principal have been upbeat about some recent developments. As a local team, I believe that we are the first in the MSS to be sponsored by two well­known international sponsors, which are AGV helmets and Alpinestars racewear. As most of us know, AGV is a recognised helmet brand and is famed for sponsoring Italian ace Valentino Rossi. Alpinestars, on the other hand, are famous as a cutting­edge motorcycle racewear company. Our two riders will be equipped with the best from AGV and Alpinestars for the entire 2008 MSS season.

From here, we do look forward to a meaningful and dynamic partnership with them. Besides that, we also have acquired the latest 2008 Honda CBR1000RR race machine from TSR Racing of Japan to be campaigned for this season.

While the team should take pride in some of our achievements, I believe that it is important that we continue to push forward. This is especially so, given the rapid development of motorsports in the Asian region, which will also expand on our local talents.

From the start of the MSS, it is interesting to note that the Malaysian motorsports scene, in particular the MSS bike rounds, continues its transformation with a more focused approach to competition. From here, we aim to achieve a specialized and professional approach in our campaign.

I believe that it is important for SIC to continue in promoting the MSS rounds to a higher­level as we are lacking in a premier national­type race series. As such, I would like to call upon SIC and the relevant sponsors to come up in making the MSS a world­class affair.

I would like to again thank all who are present today and would also like to take this opportunity to wish all competing teams in the MSS for a successful 2008 season.
